Support for the in-between spaces
Support for the in-between spaces
Support services for those who feel in those in-between places, we embrace a come-as-you-are approach. Whether you're navigating the aftershocks of a psychedelic or altered state, living through a big life shift, or simply needing support that sees the whole of you, we welcome all parts of you.
Welcome, for those of you who may not know much about me, you can read more here. This whole adventure only started because I grew up in chaos, and I have spent much of my life trying to find a place for myself. Like many others, I spent a lot of time attempting to seek help and failing, thinking it was a problem with me, and my psychological misgivings, a failure, of the self again, however, over time, I learnt that I was navigating systems that were not build to support complex psychological traumas. Eventually, I stopped trying to shrink myself to fit what was never made for me. I started building my path. One rooted in lived experience, in education and honesty, in all the places I’ve had to learn how to come back to myself, again and again… and again.
Altered Integration is what grew from that. It’s not a clinic. It’s not a wellness brand. It’s a space for reflection, connection, and support—for people who feel too much, or not enough, or may see too much, or perhaps you feel that you live outside the lines and are still figuring out what that means.
Whether you’re coming out of a psychedelic journey, sitting with grief, reckoning with hormonal chaos, a job change, homeschooling, or just trying to hold yourself together through another Monday, you’re welcome here.
You don’t need to have the right words. You don’t need a referral. You just need to come as you are.
Why I built this:
Honestly? Because I’ve had more healing conversations with peer workers, friends, and “outsiders” than I have in any other setting. Sitting with others as they process has been one of the best forms of healing I have accessed.
That’s not a dismissal of therapy. Therapy of all kinds has its place, has benefits and there are many many wonderful therapists out there. What this is, however, is recognition of what has worked for me. So I back this. For me. For others like me. For the ones who’ve been told they’re too complex or too much or not sick enough or not “sane” enough.
This work is built for the spaces in between. The ones we’re still learning how to name.
Please note: Our offerings are not all related to altered states and psychedelic experiences- read on below for what we offer.
Psychedelic & altered-state integration
Not everyone wants therapy. Not everyone needs it. Sometimes, you just want to talk to someone who gets it, for some of us, traditional models of care are not for everyone- just like sardines or coriander.
We offer support before and after psychedelic or altered-state experiences—whether they come from plant medicines, spiritual practices, relationship breakdowns, grief spirals, hormonal shifts, or big life transitions.
We are:
Grounded in harm reduction and lived experience of psychedelic healing, preparation and experience.
Trained in psychedelic states- bad trips, dissociation, etc
Person-led and centred,
an inclusive space for neurodivergent minds, LGBTQIA+ folk and people from culturally diverse backgrounds.
Gentle, spacious, and deeply respectful of your meaning-making, adaptable
You’re the expert in your experience. I’m here to help you reflect on it, stay with it, and carry what matters forward.
Peer support for real life
Sometimes, support isn’t about the “deep work”—it’s about making it to the end of the day.
Together, we might:
Do some errands and talk through the hard stuff
Go to an appointment or find language to prepare
Walk and talk through a tough week in person or over the phone, Zoom or other modes.
Co-regulate during a wave of overwhelm
Write a song, create music or your version of what is sitting within.
Sit in silence, meditate, or do deep breathing or grounding pactices
Get curious about a shutdown, a flare-up, a breakthrough, a spiral- write, create or play.
We have Shaun Holton available—he’s a professional musician and trained psychotherapist, who also offers music-based support sessions. Sometimes what we can’t say comes out in melody, sounds, song or a bash on the drums- BYO instruments or borrow some.
Advocacy & system navigation
Health systems and support systems can be a maze. If you’re navigating NDIS, healthcare, or mental health appointments, we can help you:
Prepare for assessments or meetings
Write or review documents, forms, or support letters
Get clearer on what you want and how to ask for it
Connect to other services or peer groups that might be able to help support your journey
You don’t have to translate yourself to be taken seriously. We’ll work with your language, your pace, and your lifestyle.
Who works with you?
We’re not a top-down organisation. There are no bosses here. We work as a team, side by side, co-creating a space of safety and shared learning.
Everyone in this space has both professional and personal experience of complexity. Many of us live with:
ADHD, autism, sensory differences
PMDD, perimenopause, and hormonal disruptions
Chronic illness and/or disability
Spiritual emergence and dissociation experiences
Complex grief, loss, and trauma
Burnout, breakdown, and breakthrough
All staff hold:
Valid Working with Children Checks
Police Checks
Full insurance
